Samsungが、また疑惑のサービスを立ち上げたようです。
パクリApp Storeにはまったく興味はないのですが
紹介記事の刺のある文章が面白かったので訳してみました。
We all know that Samsung loves to copy Apple more than anything in the world. It’s embarrassing And while most of the copying has been limited to hardware, Samsung’s decided to step up its game on the software front, too.
私たちはみんなSamsungが何よりもAppleをパクるのが好きなことを知っています。それは不愉快なものです。ほとんどのパクリはハードウェアに限られてきましたが、Samsungはこの計略をソフトウェア方面にも拡大することを決めました。
Yesterday Samsung introduced its version of Apple’s iTunes Store, except it’s got a really bad interface and even worse name. They’re calling it “Samsung Content & Services“, and with a little magic pixie dust, Samsung hopes its customers will think it’s as good as the App Store or Google Play.
昨日Samsungは彼らの「Apple iTunesストア」を始めました。本当にひどいインタフェースと、同じくらいひどい名前は全然iTunes Storeじゃないけど。彼らはそれを「Samsung Content & Services」と呼び、ちょっぴりの魔法の砂で(ちょっと手を加えただけで？)、ユーザがApp StoreやGoogle Playに匹敵するものと思ってくれることを期待しています。
They’ve even got a Find My iPhone ripoff called ‘Find My Mobile’ which works pretty much the same way as Apple’s product. Oh, and there’s also AllShare Play, which sounds a lot like AirPlay.
彼らは「Find My Mobile」と呼ぶ「Find My iPhone」のパクリもやっています。その機能はとてもApple製品と同じように動作します。あ。「AirPlay」のように鳴る「All Share Play」もありました。
To make things even better, Samsung has an OS X version of Kies which lets you browse the store and sync apps. Maybe they actually need their copycat App Store for when Tizen OS takes off, but at this point, it’s hard to tell if Samsung is trying to copy Apple, or if they’re just trolling for lulz.
もっとうまくいくように、Samsungはストアをブラウズしてアプリを同期するためのソフト、OS Xバージョンの「Kies」を用意します。おそらく実際には、「Tizen OS」(この夏にも製品が出てくる、Samsungが推進する新モバイルOS。日本ではドコモが押す。)の開始のために、彼らはパクりApp Storeを必要としています。しかし、現時点ではSamsungがAppleをパクろうとしているのか、ただ冗談でふざけているのかを見分けるのは難しいです。（その程度のクオリティと評価しているようです。）
ステキな紹介文（？）です。
Samsung製品を手にしたことがないので知らなかったのですが
「Find My Mobile」や「All Share Play」のようなレベルで
細やかに機能をコピーしているのは驚きました。

Apple Storeによく似たお店を作ったり。
...そりゃ訴えられるわ。うん。
ただ、こんなSamsungが現在Android市場で
断トツのシェアを持っているのもまた事実で。
フクザツな気分になれます。
