台湾紙のSurface RTの話題がメインの記事に
Microsoft is ready to announce its second-generation Surface RT tablet with an 8-inch display in June with an estimated price between US$249-299, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.
サプライチェーン上流の関係者によると、Microsoftは8インチの第2世代Surface RTタブレットを6月に推定価格249〜299米ドルで発表しそうです。
The new Surface RT is manufactured by Pegatron Technology, using Nvidia's Tegra processor. However, because of the first-generation Surface RT's weak sales, and fierce competition in the 7- to 8-inch tablet market, most market watchers are conservative about the second-generation Surface tablets' performance.
新しいSurface RTはNvidiaのTegraプロセッサを使い、ペガトロン社（台湾ASUS系だった会社）で製造されます。しかし初代Surface RTの売上がよくなかったことと7〜8インチタブレット市場の激しい競争から、ほとんどの市場の専門家は第2世代Surfaceタブレットの売上には慎重な見方をしています。
In addition to Surface, Google is also set to start selling its second-generation Nexus 7 in July with a sales target of 6-8 million units for the second half. The upcoming Nexus 7 will feature Japan Display's (JPI) 1920 by 1200 LTPS TFT panel and a Qualcomm processor, and be priced the same as the first-generation model.
Surfaceに加えて、Googleも第2世代Nexus7を7月に下半期6〜8百万台の売上目標で売り出そうとしています。次期Nexus7はJapan Display社(Sony、東芝、日立のディスプレイ子会社が統合した会社)製の1920x1200LTPS TFTパネルとQualcomm社のプロセッサを備えます。また、初代モデルと同様の値段になるでしょう。
発表は5月のGoogle I/Oで! というウワサも
発売は7月と言ってましたし。
昔から7月発売説はありますし。
ちょっとは期待してもいいですかね。。うん。きっと。たぶん。
