量産は7月にも開始されて9月には店頭にならぶかも？というお話。
台湾紙によるサプライチェーンのリークです。
Trial production of Apple's 5th-generation 9.7-inch iPad will begin soon and volume production will begin in July, with monthly shipments ramping up to 2-3 million units in September, according to sources with Taiwan's supply chain.
台湾のサプライチェーン関係者によると、Appleの第5世代9.7インチiPadの試験生産が間もなく始まり、量産も7月に開始されて9月の出荷台数は2〜3百万台に増える見込みです。

9月初旬には店頭に並ぶ新しいiPadのディスプレイは、また第4世代と同様に2048x1536のRetinaディスプレイになりますが、新しいディスプレイは第4世代の0.25mmより薄い0.2mmのガラス基板上に作られています、と関係者は述べました。また、その画面は狭額（ナローベゼル）になるだろうと付け加えました。その他、下記のようなことが書かれています。
- 第4世代に比べて25〜33%ほど軽くなる
- ディスプレイはLG Display、Samsung Display、Sharpが供給する
